Advisory on Membership Dues ASIS International Singapore Chapter (ASIS Singapore) would like to bring to the kind attention of all local Chapter members of the following rule:
If due or any other amount owed by any member in good standing remains unpaid for a period of thirty (30) days after the beginning of the calendar year, ASIS Singapore shall request by mail, immediate payment thereof. Until such payment, said member shall cease to be in good standing. If he fails to settle the account for more than 2 months, then the membership of such persons shall automatically terminated, unless otherwise ordered by the Management Committee of ASIS Singapore.
We would like to inform all local Chapter members that at least two weeks are required, under normal circumstances, for the processing and approval of any new local Chapter membership applications, and membership renewals. This is so that the local Chapter officers can verify all information stated in the membership application/renewal, and to process the payment of membership fees after verification. As such, ASIS Singapore cannot grant any local Chapter membership or renewal in-situ during any local Chapter events and meetings including annual general meeting. This process is part of the our Chapter's membership governance to ensure that all Chapter events and general meetings can proceed with proper documentation, and authenticity of membership stats can be properly verified.
We would like to seek the kind understanding and cooperation of all existing and new members to pay their membership dues punctually.
