Since 1965, the ASIS Foundation has funded surveys, studies and research, as well as valued member projects like the IRC library and the 9/11 memorial garden at headquarters. Today, it is supporting ASIS council initiatives such as the Matthew Simeone Award for Public Private Excellence and the new Military Liaison Council Certification Award in addition to facilitating several individual and chapter scholarship programs.

The work of the Foundation is supported solely by voluntary contributions. The funds raised over the course of our Annual Campaign make it possible for the Foundation to provide educational opportunities and vital research to enhance the security profession throughout the year. As a 501©(3) nonprofit organization, the donations of U.S.-based individuals and organizations to the Foundation are tax-deductible.

Why give now? Here are the top three reasons to support the ASIS Foundation:

1. Provide scholarships and awards for your members with learning opportunities they wouldn’t have otherwise.
2. Support the development of security professionals new to the field – better educated security professionals make better employees and colleagues.
3. Fund resources written for practitioners that provide evidence-based practices with creditable data to inform business decisions.

With your support, the ASIS Foundation can drive excellence in the industry through education, training, and evidence-based resources.
